1. Choosing the trial
The trial is optional and must be actively selected and accepted during checkout for an eligible LIVA Telecom internet service. It is not added merely because the customer buys an internet plan.
2. When the 10 days start and end
The trial starts at the server-recorded date and time when the customer successfully submits and LIVA Telecom accepts the order at checkout. It runs for 10 consecutive calendar days. The order confirmation will record the start time and cancellation deadline. The internet service activation date and Kaspersky installation date do not delay or restart the trial.
3. Conversion and one-time charge
If LIVA Telecom has not received a cancellation request before the stated trial deadline, the trial converts immediately after the deadline to a paid 12-month licence. A single charge of $25.00 including GST becomes payable for that first paid year. The paid licence period starts when the trial ends, not when the invoice is issued or paid.
The $25.00 charge will be added to the first LIVA Telecom internet invoice issued after conversion and is payable by that invoice's due date. If the internet service ends after conversion and before the charge has been invoiced, the charge may be included on the final invoice.
4. Cancelling during the trial
The customer may cancel without a Kaspersky charge at any time before the trial deadline by calling 1300 345 148 or emailing info@livatelecom.com.au. For email, the time LIVA Telecom receives the message determines whether it was received before the deadline. LIVA Telecom will provide cancellation confirmation.
Cancelling the internet service does not by itself remove the need to confirm cancellation of the Kaspersky trial. The customer should expressly ask LIVA Telecom to cancel both where that is intended.
5. Reminder and renewal
LIVA Telecom will make reasonable efforts to send a reminder approximately three days before the trial deadline. A delayed or undelivered reminder does not extend the deadline where the deadline was supplied in the order confirmation.
The paid 12-month licence will not automatically renew. Any later renewal or different Kaspersky product requires the customer's separate agreement.
6. Third-party software
Kaspersky Plus is third-party software. Installation, activation and use are also subject to Kaspersky's applicable licence, privacy, system-requirement and product terms. The customer is responsible for checking device compatibility and whether installation is permitted on a managed or policy-restricted device.
7. Other rights
These terms operate with LIVA Telecom's General Terms and Conditions and the applicable Critical Information Summary. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
