The right business internet plan depends on how your business uses the internet. Consider your number of staff, connected devices, cloud applications, video meetings, EFTPOS, file transfers, remote work, VoIP phone needs and upload requirements. Check your business address first so available network options, plan types, speed tiers and any installation requirements can be confirmed.

Can LIVA support businesses with multiple users or cloud applications?

LIVA business internet plans are designed to support common business activities such as cloud applications, email, web browsing, video meetings, file sharing, remote work and VoIP. Performance will depend on your selected plan, address technology, network availability, modem/router, in-office cabling, Wi-Fi setup, number of users and the applications being used. For businesses with heavier usage, multiple staff, cloud systems, VoIP phones or upload-heavy workloads, a higher speed plan may be more suitable.

Are business plans available on nbn, Opticomm or Fixed Wireless?

Business internet availability depends on your address, service qualification and the network infrastructure available at your premises. The address checker can help confirm whether nbn, Opticomm, Fixed Wireless or another supported network option is available at your business site. Some locations may only support certain technologies, plans or speed tiers.

Can my business get a static IP address?

Accepted Answer

Static IP options may be available on selected LIVA business internet services. Availability, configuration and pricing may depend on your selected plan, service qualification, connection type and network availability at your business address. If your business uses VPN access, remote desktop, hosted servers, security systems, cloud platforms or advanced network settings, please check your static IP requirements before ordering.

Can I use my existing business router or firewall?

Accepted Answer

You may be able to use your existing unlocked and compatible business router or firewall with LIVA Telecom. Your equipment must support your connection type and be configurable with the required LIVA internet settings. Business networks using VLANs, static IP, VPN, VoIP, failover, security rules or advanced routing may need additional configuration by your IT provider or network administrator.

Can I use VoIP with LIVA business internet?

Accepted Answer

VoIP options may be available for business customers. Your modem/router, phone system or VoIP adapter must be unlocked where applicable, compatible with your connection type, and support VoIP/SIP configuration. Some business phone systems, PBX systems, alarms, fax machines, EFTPOS terminals, health claim terminals and lift phones may require additional configuration or may not work the same way over an internet-based service. Please check with your equipment provider before changing your phone or internet service.

What happens after I submit a business order?

Accepted Answer

After you submit your order, LIVA will review your address qualification, selected plan, business contact details, modem/router requirements and any selected add-ons such as static IP or VoIP. If an installation appointment, activation step, missing information or additional action is required, we will contact you with the next steps.

Question 8

Can my business site get a $0 fibre upgrade?

Accepted Answer

Your business address may be eligible for a $0 standard fibre upgrade. Eligibility depends on your address, current technology type, selected plan, provider participation, installation requirements and nbn co requirements. If your business premises is eligible, LIVA can help you proceed with the upgrade order. Installation may require new fibre equipment at your premises, and an authorised person may need to be present for the appointment.
